Description: Owned by the Legault family for nearly 200 years, this “pièces sur pièces” (log) house was built around 1760. An example of the French style, with its first floor built at ground level, steeply pitched roof and “cheminées en chicane” (two chimneys, one on each gable end). The imitation stone wood siding dates from the late 1800s.
