Description: Built by Wilfrid and Napoléon Schetagne on the ruins of the Rickner Hotel that was destroyed along with half of the village in a major fire on May 22, 1900. The hotel catered to travellers. This Second Empire-style building used to have a wraparound gallery on the first and second floors.

This Second Empire-style building with its mansard roof used to have a wraparound gallery on the first and second floors, which was removed in the 1930s. Also known to regulars as the Chénier Hotel, after popular innkeeper Léo Chénier who ran the business from 1926 to 1941, the hotel catered to travellers and vacationers.
